Pancakes

I ate breakfast this morning at Woodruff dining Hall. As I walked in; Dave, who swipes cards, immediately went off on a rant about the pancakes that they were serving that day. So I said I would check it out and proceeded to get my food. And there were the pancakes. Wow, talk about options. The first choice was either regular or banana pancakes. I choose regular. As for toppings, there were strawberries, bananas, all sorts of nuts, whipped cream, different types of syrups, and other stuff that I can't remember. But nevertheless, they had everything that you could imagine to put on pancakes.

  1. That sounds like a great way to start the day! Sometimes I feel like I don't have time for breakfast though. It would require me to wake up earlier. That won't be happening! These pancakes could inspire change, though!

  2. I love pancakes, especially at places like IHOP where you can get all different kinds.

Like Erin, I don't have time for breakfast this semester, but next semester I was actually able to have my first class at noon, so I'll start having some time in the morning. I'm really excited.

  3. I love pancakes too but like Erin (she has a fabulous name by the way haha), I won't be getting up early enough to try them out. When I went to Ocean City, MD for Senior Week right after graduation, we went to a pancake house and I was shocked on the different kinds of pancakes they served. They had Oreo Pancakes, Reeses Pancakes, Chocolate pancakes, etc. I tried the Oreo pancakes and I must admit I did not like them at all. I will definitely be sticking to original pancakes :)

  4. That sounds so tasty right now! I feel like the West Campus dining hall is the only perk of living over there. I love East Campus, but Brittain is definitely not as good as Woody's. Props for waking up early enough to actually eat breakfast.

  5. I noticed you guys though I woke up early to go eat. However this isn't true. I value my sleep wayyyyy to much. It just so happens that I have all eight AM classes so often I eat breakfast after those classes.

  6. banana pancakes are absolutely fantastic. and i agree with griffin, woody's rocks the socks off of Brittain. but the staff at Brittain is much nicer....

  7. The staff at Brittan is amazing. I usually leave the line smiling due to the jovial atmosphere--especially the Burrito lady!

I'd have to say that these pancakes you speak of sound quite amazing--I'll have to give that to Woody's. This reminds me of saturday mornings when I was younger--waking up to pancakes! I love trying different fruit cut up in the batter--and I love banana pancakes!

Though Brittan does have their omletes. It's a tradeoff--either wake up early for the omelet line, or eat a quick breakfast of cereal.

  8. I love pancakes, but I haven't been able to wake up early enough to enjoy them for most of this year. Luckily for me, the dining hall also serves breakfast items at night.

  9. That sounds quite amazing! Although I think they should have made more pancakes with the blueberries and strawberries and whatnot in them.

  10. That sounds amazing. Unfortunately, I don't think they have those kind of pancakes at Brittain. I might just have to sneak over to Woody's to check them out.
