Kind of Discusting

The other day, my girlfriend and I were eating at Moe's. I should start by adding that this Moe's is not the one in tech square. The restaurant was very crowed and busy. The line was long, and the customers kept piling in. We proceeded to order and walk down the line as our food was put together. My girlfriend ordered a quesadilla which requires being cooked by a certain cooking device that blackens both sides of the tortilla. The only action required by the human is to insert and remove the quesadilla. Problem! The lady wasn't wearing any gloves. Seeing that she was sweating, had food on her shirt, and she was rubbing her face periodically made this absolutely disgusting. However, we kindly complained and the Moe's employees made up a new quesadilla without hesitation. This time she used gloves.

  1. That's gross. I don't think I've ever had that happen at a restaurant (as far as I'm aware, at least), but I always hated that in the lunch room at school. Especially when people would take food from the salad bar and not use the tongs. Gross.

  2. They should be especially careful guarding against that, given the flu going around these days.

  3. It shouldn't matter unless she touches it with her bare hands after it is cooked. The cooking device would have killed all the bacteria. Although, there is the slight chance the quesadilla would taste a little bit like sweat.

  5. Yeah I'm glad you guys made a complaint too. Moe's is usually one of my favorites! I've never seen them act that unprofessional.

  6. I hate when people put their bare hands on my food. I am pretty sure Moe's requires her to wear gloves. That was a big mistake on her part. It makes the restaurant look bad.

  8. I've been to Moes in Tech Square once, and it wasn't the same experience as the one near my home. The order seemed rush, and I had to stop them in order to get stuff put on my food. But Moes is a favorite of mine, welcome to Moes!

  9. That sounds so gross. Not get me wrong, I love Moe's, I been there with my friends a couple times. But they should really look out for stuff like that nowadays and more so if they have a full house.

  10. That is very disgusting. I've been to that Moe's quite a number of times now, but i have yet to see such unsanitary methods of food preparation. I'll be on the lookout from now on!
