Yay for Ichiban

While home, my friends and I visited, in my opinion, one of the best restaurants ever. Ichiban is one of the hibachi style japanese steak houses that cooks right in front of you. Though the cooking is cool and the food is great, these two factors are not what makes the restaurant the best. The best thing about this restaurant is that my friends and I can be as loud and obnoxious as we want, and everyone seems to be okay with it. Ichiban is great.

  1. I love hibachi style restaurants because they cook the food right in front of you. There is a similar style restaurant back where I live called Sake Gura. I have been there many times for many different occasions from dinners for high school dances to just eating out with my family. Ah, memories!

  2. The fact that you can be loud and obnoxious is pretty interesting. I've noticed that when I'm at restaurants with friends, even if we're not being loud, we get weird stares seemingly just because we're young.

  3. Hibachi grills are awesome. There are a few places around where I lived. I remember at the place I would go to they would take an onion and slice it up, then they stack it up and pour oil in it, and set it on fire so it looks like a volcano. I'm not sure if they do that everywhere or not, but it's pretty cool

  4. It seems like you're really fond of Asian food. Did you happen to have sushi at this restaurant? Did it compare to Mikdao? I remember how you raved about them in your food review.
