Muscle Milk!

Muscle Milk has become part of my everyday diet. Georgia Tech is sponsored by muscle milk so we get as much of it as we need. If you talk to any athlete, they will tell you about how muscle milk is everywhere throughout the athletic offices. After every workout, we are handed a shake that consists of 20 grams of protein which is essential for muscle building. It is vital that you eat a meal or a shake within twenty minutes of working out so that your body can recover properly. I also drink a Muscle Milk shake in the mornings before class. Muscle Milk is a necessity for me.

  1. A tip that I learned from a very athletic friend that happens to also be a nutritionist is to add matltodextrin to a protein drink after a long workout. He suggests a 3:1 ratio of maltodextrin to protein supplement. The combination of protein and carbohydrates helps to replenish energy faster and greatly cuts back on post workout soreness

  2. Wow. How did I miss upon this. Now I can say why does our team perform so well in these football matches. They have been winning almost all the matches. Now I know the secret behind their success.

  3. What does muscle milk taste like? Does it have that "protein enhanced" taste? I'm not an athlete and I pretty much hate the taste of milk. Does muscle milk come in different flavors?

  4. I'm not an athlete so I had never had the opportunity or necessity of driking muscle milk. I always thought that protein shakes taste bad, but does muscle milk taste like?
