Ratatouille

I really like this movie. I have watched this movie twice before and never get tired of it. I have never watched this movie completely. I have always watched up to a certain point. I don't know the reason for that. The concept is an unusual one because a rat is so knowledgeable about food and cooking. This aspect adds to the quality of the movie. I really liked the concept of an animated movie about cooking. I don't think it has ever been done before. The movie portrays the daily scenes in a famous French restaurant. They show how the different chefs cook the meal for various customers. But the protagonist in this movie is a rat who controls an ordinary guy and turns him into a cook. This guy doesn't know much about cooking but wants a job. The rat helps him with a job and along with that fulfills his own dream of cooking in his idol's restaurant. I am really looking forward to the rest of the movie as I mentioned earlier that I have never watched the complete movie.

  2. I too really like Ratatouille. As a matter of fact my sister bought the DVD and as a result I have probably seen it more than seven times. I love the concept, as you mention, of a knowledgeable rat turning an ordinary guy into a gourmet. I love the fact that we are able to watch it with the whole class, since it is interesting to see everyone's impressions.

  3. This movie is so engaging! I really like the storyline. I, however, hate rodents! Who would want a rat cooking their food? Not I!

  4. I was so surprised when I watched the first half of the movie during English--after living and breathing the foodie life during this semester with ENGL1101, I realized just how much foodie culture Ratatouille has in it! I can't wait until tomorrow to finish the rest!
