Ratatouille in the Dinning Hall

Yesterday at the dinning hall, I had Ratatouille for the first time, which I personally found a little coincidental seeing as how I saw the the movie for the first time on friday. I feel that I have been lacking my vegetables lately, so when I saw that there way a dish with nothing but vegetables, I definitely had to get it. Unfortunately it was only good and not great. The tomatoes that were used as a base were a bit to acidic for my taste and there was also a bit too many onions. Everything else was good, but not good enough to make up for what the tomatoes and onions took away

  1. I am not gonna lie: I expected ratatouille to be something other than a vegetable dish. I remember when the movie first came out I had no idea what the name meant, and when I found out the child spirit in me was crushed (vegetables are by no means attractive to my appetite). I've never seen the movie, also, so I wonder how this dish will play a role in the plot (For all of you Disney fanatics, no spoilers please).

  2. Josh, you may have expected it to be something other than a vegetable dish. I did not even know it was an actual dish. I seriously had no idea. However, I believe it would definitely worth trying. The next tiem its on the menu give me a heads up.

  3. I really don't know what a Ratatouille is, till date, inspite of having watched the movie. But I have a strong feeling that it has to be a pretty good dish. Or even if it is not that great, I atleast want to try it out.
