No more Gourmet Magazine...
After finishing reading Garlic and Sapphires a couple a weeks ago, I felt hopeful for Ruth and her new career at Gourmet magazine. I thought maybe she had her dream job that she could just float on into retirement with. But it turns out that this will not be a reality for her. Gourmet's parent company, Conde Nast, stopped publication citing the economy as the reason.

So she is no longer editor? This is interesting I did not even think to check in on her now. Did it say where she was at the present?
