Cookbook Review by Giovanni Mannella

Silver Spoon

This Italian devised cookbook showed the aesthetics of authentic Italian cooking yet had the ergonomics of an old dictionary; this book was bulky!  The book did present its content quite explicitly however, very sectorial and well organized for the mass of information.

The Sopranos Family Cookbook

The second book showed storytelling qualities of traditional Italian cookery.  The informal diction and relaxed syntax gave it an easy read and a fun appearance.  The book did not seem very organized, but the recipes were stood out from the text for an easy find.
